Google rankings
Yesterday evening I decided to google the campaign on Google UK. Typing in "news Cheshire", the campaign page on BBC News Online came up 2nd in the rankings, while the online petition showed up 4th. Today, the rankings are slightly down, at 6th and 7th respectively. But this is very, very good news!

I found you via a search for BBC Radio Cheshire.
I've often wondered why the BBC appear to have overlooked Cheshire. Even if a new radio station is too expensive to justify at present – I can't imagine that it would cost that much to at least have a few pages dedicated to Cheshire on their website.
Good luck!
Indeed, Daniel. It's a mystery to us plebs oop north...
I can sort of understand why there is no BBC Radio Cheshire as we're sandwiched between Liverpool and Manchester and I think it would be hard to justify the expense of a Cheshire station when we are in easy reach of two other good local stations.
But adding a few web pages would cost very little, either to implement or update regularly. But obviously we don;t count or matter...
